Upon your arrival in Manali, our representative will welcome you and help you transfer to Sarchu. You will start your journey early in the morning.
Set at an altitude of 4,290 metres right between the Baralacha La Mountains in the south and Lachulung La in the north, Sarchu is an eye pleasing destination that deserves to be a part of every itinerary. It is an ideal destination for adventure enthusiasts and popular for camping. You can spend some time amidst the scenic picturesque backdrop of nature. One can also find a lot of calm and serenity over here.
You will drive from Manali to Sarchu over the Rohtang-la pass (13,398 feet). Within 5 hours, you will reach Keylong. We will make a pit stop at Keylong for lunch and then continue our drive towards Sarchu. Optionally, if you would like to avoid early morning departure from Manali, you may also carry packed lunch from the hotel and avoid the lunch stop at Keylong.
On arrival, check-in at the camp or hotel. Overnight stay at Sarchu.
After breakfast, check out from the camp / hotel in Sarchu and drive to Leh early morning. You will drive through Lachungla Pass which is set at an altitude of 5065 meters. Enjoy the drive as you pass through rugged mountains and beautiful landscapes.
We will make a pit stop at Pang for lunch. The landscape between Lachulung La and Pang is very dramatic. You will find the colors varying from white to brown to black to even yellow and pink at times. Moreover, the beautiful Lachulung River adds to the charm of the place.
If you are lucky, you may even spot tiny colonies of Marmots on the Morea plains which is an amazing 45 km. stretch. Continue the drive as you reach Tanglangla Pass, the second highest road set at 5350 meters high.
On reaching Leh in the evening, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for sightseeing. Today you will visit multiple places around Leh city and will get to explore some stunning place that adds to the beauty of Ladakh.
Your first sightseeing place is Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, a popular Buddhist shrine in Leh. The monastery offers stunning views of the low-lying town and surrounding mountains from the hillock. The monastery sits atop a rocky crag behind the ancient royal palace of Leh.
Next visit Shanti Stupa also known as Japanese peace pagoda. This popular place is located at a hill top and was built by Japanese religious organizations with the help of local people. The place offers a bird’s eye view of the entire town. Explore the architectural marvel and meditate along with the monks.
Your last sightseeing place for the day is Leh Palace. Also known as Lachen Palkar Palace, it is a former royal palace overlooking the town of Leh. The palace was constructed by Singay Namgyal in the beginning of 17th Century A.D and is one of the central attractions in Leh. The nine-storey dun-coloured palace houses a museum and a prayer room which is worth exploring.
After completing the sightseeing, you head back to your hotel in Leh and relax. Take your dinner and prepare for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast and get ready for an adventurous drive towards Nubra via Khardungla Pass. Nubra valley is popular among tourists for its white sand dunes and double hump camel rides.
39 kms away from Leh city is the Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. It is situated at 18,390 feet and will be your first stop on your journey towards Nubra Valley.
As you drive ahead, you will reach Diskit village, the headquarter village of Nubra Valley. It has a 500 years old Gompa on the hill top and a small market. From the Gompa, enjoy mesmerizing view of the valley.
On reaching Nubra Valley, check in to your deluxe camp. Take some rest and if time permits visit the Hunder and Deskit Monastery.
Hunder is a beautiful green village that houses a small monastery and ruined fort. One can enjoy a walk or a 2 hour Camel Safari from Hundar to Deskit along the sand dunes.
Deskit Monastery was built in 1420 AD and is currently home to over 100 monks who stay here in the Gompa. Tourist visit this monastery to witness the monastic festival also called as Gustor that takes place on the 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of the Tibetan calendar.
Overnight stay at the camp.
Today you will be taking another road trip from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok River. Post breakfast, head for another adventurous journey to Pangong.
En route Pangong, you will take a halt at Shayok River. This river originates from the high altitudes of the Rimo Glacier. The highlight of this river is that its water is so clear that it shines like a diamond, especially when the sun hits the water.
After having a great time by the river, continue your journey to Pangong which is set at an altitude of 14,500 feet. On arrival, check-in at the camp and relax for a while.
In the evening, you can explore the gorgeous Pangong Lake. You can take a walk and explore the surroundings or just relax by the lake and soak in the picturesque view of the snow-capped mountains and scenic beauty around. The beauty and allure of this lake will surely spellbound you. During summers, the water changes its colours from blue to green and during winters the whole lake freezes.
At night, have dinner at the campsite and get ready for an overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast with a view. Today you will drive back to Leh taking the same route. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Sindhu Ghaat.
Thiksey Monastery is located at a distance of 19 kms from Leh. This architectural marvel is one of the largest Gompas having images, stupas and paintings of Buddha.
Sindhu Ghaat is a beautiful riverbank, situated near Shey village. Tourists flock to this place to experience its unique and scenic landscape, which consists of rocky terrains, barren mountains, sparse greenery and the Sindhu River traversing the region.
Arrive Leh and relax at the hotel. You can spend the day at leisure or opt for individual activities as per your choice at your own cost. You may also enjoy shopping at the Leh market.

Begin your day with breakfast and prepare to check out from the hotel. Head for another joyous drive from Leh To Kargil. En route, we will make pit stops at a few popular attractions.
First, we will stop at Magnetic Hill. This place defies the law of gravity and you will notice vehicles moving up hill when parked in neutral gear. This will be an amazing experience for you.
Next, head to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Built in the memory of Shri Guru Nanak Devi ji who visited this place in the year 1517, this is a spiritual experience that no tourist wants to miss. The calm and peaceful environment of the Gurdwara will make you feel divine and relaxed instantly.
Another must visit sightseeing is the confluence of Zanskar and Indus river. It offers a magnificent view of two rivers joining each other with different colours. If time permits, you can also enjoy river rafting at your own cost. It will surely be an unforgettable experience for you.
Next, visit the Lamayuru monastery, one of the oldest holy sites in Ladakh. The Gompa offers unmatchable stunning views where you can catch the ariel view of the beautiful village and nearby valley.
If time permits, you can also visit the Hall of Fame. It is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh.

Start your day with an early breakfast at the hotel and then check out. Today you will head towards Srinagar.
You will drive through Zoji-La Pass which is set at an altitude of 11,500 feet. It is a high mountain pass in the Himalayas and is worth seeing. You will also drive through the Drass valley where the majestic landscape having mud huts will make you feel that you have travelled back in the time.
You will take your lunch midway and continue your journey towards Srinagar. En route, you will stop at Sonamarg and Baltal hamlets. They are known for eye pleasing vistas and rugged snow peaked meadows.
On reaching Srinagar, check in to the hotel, take dinner and prepare for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, head to Srinagar airport for your onwards journey.
