Gurez Valley Receives Yet Another Spell of Fresh Snowfall

Gurez Valley in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district is known for its treasured natural beauty. Recently, the entire valley has received a spell of fresh snowfall making the entire valley look like a magical winter wonderland.

The entire valley draped in the blanket of snow looked serene and magnetized travellers from far away. Razdan Pass, which is the gateway to this mountainous valley has also received snowfall. The upper reaches of Gurez Valley including places like Bagtore and Churwan areas also received fresh snowfall recently. The plains of Gurez Valley received light snowfall coupled with rain showers.

During snowfall, often the 84-km Bandipora-Gurez road remains closed for all sorts of vehicular movement like it was during this snowfall occasion.
