The entire route from Leh to Kargil is extremely scenic. It will greet you with picturesque landscapes, snow-capped mountains, sprawling meadows adorned with colourful wildflowers, and glistening streams.

En route, you can visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, a holy Gurudwara constructed in memory of Guru Nanak ji, Magnetic Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity creating an illusion of moving uphill, and Sangam of the Rivers Indus and River Zanskar that merge to create a spectacular view.

After exploring Sham Valley, proceed to Kargil. En route, you will visit the Drass War Memorial, also known as Vijay Memorial. It is built in memory of the martyr soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. It is a must-visit place in Kargil.

You will be travelling to Nubra Valley via Khadungla Pass which is the highest motorable road in the world. Enjoy a stopover at the pass and soak in the panoramic views of snow-clad mountains from the height. After enjoying the stopover, proceed to Nubra Valley.

En route pay a visit to Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest Gompa in Nubra Valley. The gompa is renowned for its stunning architecture, intricate frescos and wall paintings.

On reaching Nubra Valley, check in to your camp and after catching some rest visit the Hunder village for an adventurous ride of the two-humped Bactrian Camel or opt for Quad biking. You will get to experience the authentic village life here. Make the most of your visit by interacting with locals and understanding their culture.

Head back to Nubra Valley and enjoy an overnight stay at the camp.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the camp in Nubra Valley and prepare to take another adventure road trip to Pangong via Shayok River or Wari La.

Soak in the mesmerizing views as you travel to Pangong Lake. The journey is as beautiful as the destination. On reaching Pangong Lake, check in to your camp and after some rest, head out to explore the lake.

Pangong Lake is renowned for its exceptionally clear waters, characterized by a stunning turquoise hue. The most fascinating thing about the lake water is that it changes its colour into different shades of blue and green as the sun shines over it. The towering Himalayan peaks surrounding the lake add to the already existing charm of the lake. Sit by the lake side with your loved one or take strolls and explore the surroundings as you like.

Enjoy an overnight stay in the camp.

Wake up to a gorgeous view of the lake and have a steaming hot breakfast at the camp. Prepare to drive from Pangong to Leh.

En route, you may visit the Rancho School from the famous 3 Idiots movie. You can also visit Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Gompa, the biggest and most richly endowed monastery in Ladakh.
