Magnificent Kashmir with Pahalgam and Gulmarg

Arrive at the airport in Srinagar. After a warm welcome, our representative will drive you to the houseboat. Check-in, freshen up, and relax for some time. After this, you can explore the beautiful city. Take a leisurely walk on Boulevard Road surrounded by mesmerizing Zabarwan Mountain Ranges. Post the walk, we will take you for a heavenly Shikara ride on Dal Lake (1-hour ride). If you still have time in hand, go shopping for Kashmiri souvenirs at the local market. Kashmir is known for its walnuts, apples, saffron, and pashmina shawls, so you must not miss out on these souvenirs. Stay overnight at the houseboat.

Begin your day with some good breakfast at the houseboat/hotel and then head for exploring the famous attractions of Srinagar. First, our representative will take you to the mesmerizing Shalimar Bagh which dates back to 1619 and was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It is an amazing garden with a variety of flowers and trees, fountains and beautiful architecture. Next on the list is Chashme Shahi, another mesmerizing garden built under the aegis of the Mughals. Its terrace garden is a top attraction apart from the lovely pools of water, walkways, and vibrant plants.

Then we will take you to the Hazratbal Shrine which is home to a relic called Moi-e-Muqqadas. According to the legends, this relic is the sacred hair of Prophet Muhammad’s beard. Post this, our representative will drive you back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Srinagar.

The itinerary’s next stop is the immaculate, deep blue Nigeen Lake. All you have to do is get on a shikara and explore its beauty. It’s the perfect place to spend time in the great outdoors. After reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel, freshen up, and take some rest. Later go out to explore the city.

On your Pahalgam tour, we will take you to the mesmerizing Betaab Valley where many Bollywood movies have been shot because of its scenic beauty. You can take some pictures of yours in Bollywood style adding to some fun. A horse ride across the valley is something you should not miss out on.

Next, we will drive you to the arresting Aru Valley, located just 12 km away from Pahalgam. Here you will be spellbound by the alluring greenery, lakes and mountains. Later in the evening, we will drive you to the hotel in Pahalgam for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, it’s time to embark on a drive to explore Pahalgam tourist attractions – the Chandanwari Valley which offers plenty of serenity and beauty. Encircled by snow-capped mountains, it boasts of the lovely Lidder River flowing nearby. The valley remains engulfed in snow from November to May offering enchanting views of glaciers melting in the Lidder River. Enjoy a pony ride at its snow point.

Next on the day’s itinerary is a visit to Pahalgam’s Golf Course where you can enjoy the greenery and natural beauty along with taking some golf lessons if you desire. Then visit Tulian Lake to treat your eyes with arresting sunset views. Head to the Sheshnag Lake where you can spend some quality time amidst lovely surroundings and tranquillity. Post this, we will drive you back to the hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy your sleep and be ready to explore more the next day!

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel. Get ready to travel to the magnificent Gulmarg. It is popularly known as the best skiing destination in India. Upon arrival in Gulmarg, check into the hotel and freshen up. Next, go for the adventurous Gondola Ride which is the second-longest and highest cable ride in the world. If you love adventure, then the next on your list should be skiing in Gulmarg. The valley is perfect for both amateur and professional skiers and attracts them from across the globe. In the evening head to the hotel in Gulmarg and enjoy sound sleep in the beautiful valley.

After breakfast leave for Srinagar. Upon reaching Srinagar, check into the hotel and refresh yourself. Visit the famous Shankaracharya temple which is the most revered and the oldest temple in the valley. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The great saint Adi Shankaracharya attained spiritual enlightenment at this place. Offering a bird’s eye view of the city, this temple is located on the Shankaracharya hill at a height of 1,100 feet above sea level. Remaining day at leisure.
